Welcome to "Holbytla" *(hole-beat-la)*... a fantasy world of vacation bliss! No expense or detail has been spared in transforming this property into an amazing vacation destination. Designed from the ground up to enchant and entice the imagination, complex carpentry and architecture are blended with all of our desired modern day amenities, which together produce a truly unique experience.Upon arrival, the pristine grounds and gardens welcome you to Santa Barbara. One can mosey through the gardens or go straight to the main event... POOL TIME! Sunbathing and lounging will most assuredly be on this trips itinerary, good thing we've got you covered in spades. Multiple seating areas, including outdoor dining, are spread about to enjoy your favorite activities; pool time, reading, conversing, or our favorite...nap time! When you are done swimming and hot-tubbing for the day, swing around to the back of the property to enjoy one of the most beautiful outdoor showers we've ever seen.
The pool and spa area are amazing, but the interior of Holbytla is going to be a real treat for those "Lord Of The Rings" enthusiasts. See how many unique features you can spot, both the easy and not so easy to find. These beloved novels & movies are dear to so many. The front door, which welcomes you to the "Hobbit House", kicks off the adventure and will begin a joyful time for those that consider themselves fans.
We all know that most gathering time is best in, and/or around the kitchen. Great care was taken here with its design and layout which flows into a great room. A gourmet "cooks" kitchen this truly is, with high-end appliances tickle your fancy. The large kitchen island has seating for five, just in case your chef decides an audience is needed. The interior dining area is a few feet away to ensure that all food items are delivered to the table with ease. The cozy Living Room is also adjoined to this area, so keeping an eye on the score while putting together dinner is not an issue. A fun feature is the hidden TV behind the rug on the wall!
The Library is another great place to gather, with comfortable seating by the fireplace to enjoy conversations over your favorite beverages and desert. Notice the styling of the windows, as they are fun touches to the theme.
Four Bedrooms accommodate up to 9 guests, with each room offering a comfortable place to refresh and rest. Three Bathrooms offer luxury with exquisite tile work throughout, especially in the walk-in showers and tub areas. Time was definitely taken to craft these masterpieces.
Santa Barbara is popularly known for a variety of great reasons; the Weather, Shopping, Sport, Wine Tasting & Vineyard Tours, Spanish Culture & Architecture, the list goes on. That said, the beautiful Beaches that hug the vast Pacific Ocean are the main attraction to this much beloved City. Holbytla is located near Hendry's Beach, it is unsafe to walk but only a 3 minute drive, a very popular spot with the locals, which is a great place to start the search for your favorite beach! The "Mesa" area of Santa Barbara is nearby as well, which offers restaurants, groceries, coffee shops, bars, etc. Downtown Santa Barbara is also a short distance away. You simply will not run out of things to do or places to see while you are visiting.
