Why spend a spring getaway stuck at home when you can venture off to the beautiful shores of Santa Barbara? There is no better time in the spring to visit Santa Barbara than Easter Weekend. Santa Barbara features a variety of Easter related events along with several spring activities that bring out plenty of fun. Take a look at some events and activities that you do not want to miss out on Santa Barbara Easter this year:

Picnic in the Theatre Garden

Santa Barbara is home to many different incredible attractions including Lotusland. This beautiful garden features various flowers that spring to life in the early months of the year. Lotusland will be hosting the Picnic in the Theatre Garden on April 8th for a wonderful time under the sun. Bring a picnic and blanket so you can enjoy a meal with your family being surrounded by live music and beautiful flowers. You will be able to explore the gardens on foot before you head out. Entry into the Picnic in the Theatre Garden start at $75 for nom-members of Lotusland and $50 for members.

Goleta Easter Egg Hunt

Each year the Rotary Club of Goleta hosts their annual Easter Egg Hunt in our neighboring town of Goleta. The event occurs on the Saturday before Easter, with this year taking place on Saturday April 8th, at Girsh Park in Goleta. Over 10,000 eggs are hidden for the event with a variety of toys, candy, and prizes inside each one. The egg hunt itself has children separated by age so everyone can participate equally. The event will sharply start at 11:00 AM so make sure you make it to the event on time. Additional activities will also be available for the children to enjoy such as face painting, arts and crafts, egg roll races, and of course an appearance by the Easter Bunny himself! Goleta is just a short drive away so don't miss out on the fun and excitement this Easter!

Santa Barbara Easter Egg Hunt

Of course, you simply cannot beat sticking close to your vacation rental to spend some time in Santa Barbara. Our own city hosts the annual Easter Egg Hunt here in town at the Santa Barbara Golf Club. You can expect an action-packed afternoon with games and excitement at this yearly event. The Easter egg hunt is always the top draw for any child here in the area. This event will separate children by ages into different brackets with ages 0-2, ages 3-5, and ages 6-12 in different groups. This lets all of the children have an equal opportunity to find as many eggs as they can! Families can also enjoy a variety of activities including face painting, live music, corn hole, bounce houses, snag golf, and much more. Best of all the event is free for everyone to attend! This year's Santa Barbara Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday April 8th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
