This popular event brings out a variety of gem vendors who will have their selection on display to purchase. You will find gems of all sizes and shapes ensuring the perfect item to add to your collection. Popular items for sale include pearls, minerals, fossils, fine jewelry, beads, precious and semi-precious gemstones, and much more. The Gem Faire will be taking place Friday, August 12th from noon to 5:00 PM at the Earl Warren Showgrounds located at 3400 Calle Real. Entry is $7 per person for the event.
For 10 years our neighbors in Carpinteria have been putting on their Carpinteria Surf 'n' Suds Beer & Music Festival to much acclaim. This fall-based beer and music festival brings out all the fun for visitors to enjoy. This two-day event will feature over 75 different craft breweries offering up tasty beers, ciders, seltzers, wine, and kombucha to drink. The live music will kick off on the second day of the event with reggae legend Pato Banton taking the stage. Additional live music acts will include DJ Hecktik, Arise Roots, and Cornerstone Reggae. Come experience the best of both worlds including live music and craft beer when you attend the Carpinteria Surf 'n' Suds Beer & Music Festival. Tickets are still available for this event taking place on August 13th and 14th at Carpinteria State Beach.
Santa Barbara is best known for the local wineries and vineyards where you can try tastings of delicious wine. Take a break from the wine with the upcoming Margaritas Y Mas Festival taking place in September. This exciting event is all things margaritas and more. This annual Santa Barbara events is back for its third year right here in Santa Barbara. Guests can enjoy unlimited tastings of Mexico's top tequila and mezcal brands. Or try out the spirits whipped up into a margarita or cocktail. Local food trucks including Chiltepin Mexican Grill and Marisco's Tita's will be on hand and sold separately to keep your hunger at bay. Live music will be playing all day long. Jump lawn games will let your inner child come out and play. The Margaritas Y Mas Festival will take place on Saturday, September 10th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Elings Park. General admission fees are $65 per person; make sure to check out the group rates for four tickets or more and the designated driver tickets to save on your entry.
Santa Barbara has its very own live theatre stage found at The Granada Theatre. This historic building has a variety of live stage performances throughout the year from big-name productions to local shows. The upcoming fall season will have a variety of shows to pick from including Cats. Catch this classic live theatre production taking place on October 17th and 18th. Tickets for this legendary performance will be on sale on August 30th through the theatre itself. Come see this record-breaking musical in a historical building only at The Granada Theatre!

Venues such as the Granada Theatre, Santa Barbara Bowl, and the Arlington Theatre will be hosting some incredible performances in the upcoming months. Jack Johnson will have a two-day stay at the Santa Barbara Bowl on October 4th and 5th. Rufus Du Sol will also light up the bowl with his performance on October 8th. Carly Rae Jepsen started as a teen sensation and her hits will be playing at The Arlington Theatre. Tickets are still available for these incredible music performances!
