If you were about to despair that you will never find a wood-fire pizza joint that also serves craft coffee, beer, and wine, we are about to make you very happy. Lucky Penny offers all of the above and a full take-out menu, so you can choose to enjoy your meal on their charming patio or in sweats on the back deck of your Paradise Retreats vacation escape! Nicky D’s Wood-Fired Pizza, 2840 De La Vina Street B
This is the neighborhood pizza joint you’ve been searching for your entire life. Featuring simple wood chairs and tables, a neon sign informing guests that they are open, and a clientele that is both friendly and well fed, Nicky D’s is where the locals eat. And if you don’t try their garlic clam pizza at least once during your stay, you’ll end up regretting it for the rest of your life!
