Live music and fun are part of an all-day event hosted by the Stearns Wharf Merchants Association that opens at 11am and goes until the city's 9pm fireworks display. Tequila Mockingbird and other bands will be playing for hours on two different stages, and you can dance, shop, or even get your face painted right on the wharf! Partake in great food from local vendors, exciting drinks and cocktails at trendy restaurants, and other entertaining events like wine-tasting and palmistry. In the evening, you'll have a phenomenal view of this 20-minute long choreographed fireworks show.
The annual 4th of July concert taking place at the Santa Barbara Courthouse Sunken Gardens is a local fan favorite. Starting at 5pm, you'll hear some traditional American tunes by Scott Joplin, John Philip Sousa, Leonard Bernstein, among others, all performed by the talented Crown City Brass Quintet.
