Pasa Nuevo

There are dozens of shops to explore here, so if you're looking for a place to grab a few souvenirs, Pasa Nuevo is your place. Grab some Boba tea, stop for lunch at California Pasta, and grab a dessert pastry later on at the delectable Le Macaron. Then spend the afternoon milling about the shops. There are chain stores here and plenty of amazing things to see in Santa Barbara. There are also unique boutiques and food shops where you'll find goods and treats you won't find anywhere else. You can even enjoy summer kid's movies for $2 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

Santa Barbara Museum of Art

This museum is a must-see as a center of culture and art in Santa Barbara, featuring everything from paintings to sculptures. Upcoming exhibitions include the art of Van Gogh, Japanese Tōkaidō prints, art of the cosmos, and early photography. Upcoming events that you'll want to see are Parallel Stories, Ted Nash: The Sound of Art, and Chris Kallmyer: Artist Talk. General admission to the SBMA is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors/children, and free for children under 6. This is definitely one of the best things to see in Santa Barabara!

MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation

This is the place to go if you love science and creativity and you want to be actively involved in your museum experience. With three rich floors of teeming with interactive exhibits that are fun for all ages, this museum is truly one of a kind. Explore the wonders of technology as they relate to things like music, art, and science, and share in the experience by getting hands-on with activities like sound booths, test flights, and room-spanning games. Tickets for MOXI are $15 for adults, $10 for children 3-12, and free for children under 2.

Santa Barbara Winery

Attending a fine winery is a great way to really treat yourself on a vacation, especially a winery that's cozy and indoors. Santa Barbara Winery is nationally recognized for its award-winning wines, and you'll see why once you taste them for yourself! Just make sure to reserve your private tasting experience at least one day ahead of time. This winery is open daily from 10:00AM - 6:00PM, and until 7:00PM Fri/Sat, and the cost for private tastings is $35 per person.
