Butterflies Alive!

Another exciting exhibit at a local attraction is the Butterflies Alive! found only at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. This annual exhibition takes place in an enclosed lush garden that is filled with exotic butterflies of all kinds. This attraction runs until September 5th meaning it will end after Labor Day weekend has come to a close. All ages will love to see the butterflies fly around them and even land on their hand or head. You will learn all about these incredible creatures from the knowledgeable staff who love the butterflies just as much as you do. Entrance into the Butterflies Alive! exhibit is included with museum admission that ranges from $12 to $18 per person.

Hit the Wineries

One of the biggest draws to visiting Santa Barbara is stopping by one of the many wine tap rooms here in the city. Santa Barbara 4th of July Celebration 

The city of Santa Barbara is excited to announce that the return of the annual Fourth of July Celebration will be taking place this summer. This year’s events will be building off of the wonderful events in years past for the best celebration yet. The event takes place at Stearns Wharf where you can enjoy an afternoon full of live music, delicious food, and of course the incredible fireworks display. The fireworks display will be starting around 9:00 PM for 20 minutes of dazzling fun. Stearns Wharf will be closed to vehicle traffic from 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM so plan ahead for the route. Visitors are encouraged to bike to the event where additional bike racks will be provided by the city. The weather is absolutely lovely in the summer making for an enjoyable bike ride from your vacation rental to the event. Don’t miss out on the biggest fireworks display in Santa Barbara yet! The Santa Barbara Fourth of July Celebration will be taking place from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM this summer. 

Host Our Own BBQ 

Another great way to spend your vacation rental is by having your own BBQ at your vacation rental. Our vacation properties are second to none here in Santa Barbara and will make for a great spot to grill up your meal. Many of our vacation rentals are full-size homes that feature spacious outdoor yards. Look out back and you may find extended patio decks or grassy lawns. This unique experience will take you aboard the Double Dolphin, a giant 50-foot catamaran that takes off every Friday for a beautiful sunset cruise. Local Santa Barbara musicians will be on board performing wonderful music as the sun sets in the background. You will enjoy majestic views of the Santa Barbara coastline. The Nutcracker
