Casa Palladio - Privacy and Comfort in the Upper Village

Set amidst the exclusive gated homes of the Upper Village of Montecito, Casa Palladio offers privacy in a serene wooded setting. This single level contemporary ranch style home is surrounded by extensive gardens, fruit trees and walking paths. At night, courtyard fountains and lighting under the trees add ambiance and beauty to this park-like environment.

Upon entering, the Living Room feels like an extension of the front yard with floor to ceiling glass windows and soaring open beam ceilings. Centered around a wood burning fireplace, this room is accented by, two large comfortable sofas and an entertainment center with a large flat screen television and stereo.

The Dining Room, adjacent to the living room and kitchen, is a wonderful place to entertain with seating for up to 12 guests. From here, enjoy more tranquil views of the enclosed front yard.

The kitchen is efficient with easy access to the backyard and gas barbeque outside. A Viking 6 burner professional range and fully stocked cupboards make meal preparation easy. A powder room, washer and dryer add further convenience.

The Master Bedroom Suite is spacious with more open beam ceilings. Sumptuous linens adorn the king size bed and the open fireplace with smooth granite hearth adds warmth to the room. Swing open the French doors to enjoy a cool breeze from the back yard patio and grounds or use the separate air conditioning unit on warm summer days. “His” and “Hers” bathrooms add convenience and privacy to this lovely space. Step down into an open sunken shower in “her” bathroom or enjoy a traditional soothing bathtub experience in “his” bathroom.

A second Master Suite with queen size bed and more luxurious linens is located at the opposite end of the home. Another air conditioning unit is available for individualized comfort control. This private retreat has backyard access through French doors. The large French-tiled bathroom is well appointed with a spa tub, walk-in shower and two sinks.

Finally, the spacious backyard offers a variety of seating vignettes, outdoor dining, gas barbeque and plenty of shade beneath large oaks and sycamore trees. With the ideal location near the Upper Village, it is an easy walk to coffee shops, upscale dining and shopping.
